Alessandro Ortis is an Associate Professor at the University of Catania, specializing in Artificial Intelligence for Computer Vision and Security. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics and Computer Science, part of which was conducted at Imperial College London. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE, a member of the IEEE Biometric Council, head of the Biometric Research Group (BioRG), and a member of the Image Processing Laboratory (IPLAB), actively engaged in international collaborations and funded research projects. He serves as Associate Editor for Pattern Recognition (Elsevier), IET Image Processing and The Visual Computer journals. He also serves as Guest Editor and Chair for top tier venues in fields related to Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence. His research focuses on AI vulnerabilities, including Deepfakes, Adversarial Machine Learning, and Biometrics.

Gudrun Frommherz is a scholar in digital communication, specialising in the intersection of media innovation, emerging technologies, and communication futures. Her research explores complexity as a communication paradigm, advocating a systems perspective on media environments and communicative events. Gudrun’s work emphasises communication as a transformative field, with a particular focus on how media messages establish ‘truth’, construct reality, and prefigure futures.
Gudrun is the founding co-director of the TOROA Centre for Communication Research, where she established the research clusters of Complexity Communication, Research Communication, and Communicating the Future. As an educator, Gudrun teaches in the fields of digital media practice, digital communication, and research methods.
Amb Lavina currently serves at the African Union ASTR Commission on Science, Research and Innovation Council. She is a visionary figure in the advancement of psychology, economics and technology, dedicated to harnessing technology for good and unlocking humanity's potential. Dr. Maulina Pia Wulandari is a senior academic and communication expert with nearly 30 years of experience in higher education, research, and consultancy. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Science at the University of Brawijaya, she is widely recognized for her expertise in Public Relations, Issue and Crisis Communication Management, and Organizational Communication.
She has demonstrated strong academic leadership through the development of international collaborations, the successful management of community service projects, and pioneering research in digital public relations and artificial intelligence. As a prominent national media expert, she is frequently invited to provide analysis and commentary on high-profile crises, further solidifying her reputation as a leading figure in the communication field.
Dr. Ruslan Boiko is an Associate Professor in the Department of Marketing at Khmelnytsky National University, Ukraine, with over 26 years of scientific and academic experience. He graduated from Podil Technological University in 1995 with a degree in Economics and Management in Mechanical Engineering and completed his postgraduate studies at Khmelnytsky National University in 1999. In 2001, he earned the degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences with a dissertation on economic methods for evaluating innovative decisions in machine-building enterprises, and in 2003 he received the academic title of Associate Professor.
He is a member of the Ukrainian Association of Marketing and the author of more than 100 scientific publications, including around 60 articles in professional journals, 2 publications indexed in international scientific databases, and 2 textbooks approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. He has participated in over 60 national and international scientific-practical conferences.
